Great for a quick business lunch with fine dishes: Restaurant Mövenpick Wein-Bar (7. March 2022)
It’s quite some time ago since I’ve last been to the Mövenpick Wein-Bar and I must say I like the place since it offers a decent lunch menu. You can basically pick a starter and a main for a set price of CHF 34.00. I went for the “celery cream soup with lemon oil” (usually CHF 11.00) as a starter which was interesting and tasty since it was relatively creamy and had a nice twist to it due to the lemon oil.
The portion of “Ravioli Caprese” (CHF 26.00) was a bit small for my personal gusto but it was tasty nevertheless since the pasta was cooked al dente and the stuffing was actually nice.
Other than that, the place is nice in terms of interior design as well as in terms of service attention. They are friendly and attentive and make sure you have everything you need and want within a short period of time. The only thing which didn’t entirely work was the bread which was supposed to be served to the soup as it only arrived once I was done with the soup. To sum it up, I can recommend you to try the Mövenpick Wein-Bar for lunch – just make sure to book in advance as else you will not find a space short notice.
