A great place to play a game of cards with friends: Restaurant Werdguet (16. March 2022)
Usually when I spend an evening at the Werdguet playing cards with my friends from the army, I go for the Cordon Bleu. This time, I decided to try something else and I must say that I was not disappointed. The “beef filet ‘Café de Paris’ (200gr) with French Fries” (CHF 50.00) was cooked perfectly medium-rare as requested and the fries as well as the Café de Paris sauce were both good, making it, all in all, a good main course.
What I like about the place is the fact that you can just sit there, have something to drink while playing cards, the staff is super friendly, jovial, but yet professional. And they make sure you have your beverages as well as your food quite quickly. So, all in all, the Werdguet remains a great place to play cards in the evening while having a good and hearty bite. Again, booking in advance is highly recommended.
