23. May 2011: Restaurant US-Mex

| May 27, 2011 | 0 Comments

The burger is okay, the French fries are okay too – that’s it. Not much more to say about it. The “US-Mex Jumboburger” (CHF 15.00) is scandalous – the bun is the double size of the meat and there is nothing Jumbo about this Jumboburger. At least it is not that bad because it does not have all the tomatoes, salad, and other vegetable stuff in it. Overall, not really recommendable though. Also, I’ve ordered Cocktail Sauce on top of the whole dish and was charged CHF 0.60 for that – I remember times when it all came for free, but apparently times have changed.

The service is okay, but too slow. The waitres is friendly, the waiter not so much. A beer (0,25L) costs CHF 4.00. Overall, the US-Mex is okay because you can sit outside and watch the people passing by, the food is eatable, the waiters do what they are paid for – but it’s nothing I would recommend you to go.
