When an apparent tourist trap turns out to be great: Restaurant Le Pinocchio (19. June 2022)
Honestly, under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t have entered the Le Pinocchio. Not because it was looking bad or anything, but it is just located in a very touristic area, and I try to avoid these kinds of places at all cost. However, since I was starving and, therefore, starving, the decision was taken to have something here. I went for the “tagliatelle ‘Pinocchio’ (ham, cream, peas)” (EUR 19.00) and absolutely no expectations. But, it turned out to be quite fine. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was fresh, and it was just overall a good meal.
On top of that, the service was impeccable and swift. From sitting down until having paid the bill, it took a mere 30 minutes. And that is how swift service with high quality should be. So, although I had absolutely no expectations, I must say, I was super positively surprised since the whole thing was just quick, friendly, and tasty. And all of it for a fair price.
