Interesting pizza with incredibly slow service: Restaurant Paparazzi (29. June 2022)
What you get at the Paparazzi is an interesting pizza – kind of a long version spread over two plates. Definitely something I have not seen before. To be fair though, the “Pizza Diavola (coulis de tomate, mozzarella, saucisson calabrais)” (EUR 22.00) was actually quite nice in terms of taste. Not comparable to a proper Italian pizza, but good in terms of quality. What I did not like so much was the fact that they sprinkled some kind of pesto oil over the pizza, which is not really something that enjoyable.
The place is incredibly busy during lunch, and you need to be quite patient to get what you want. To be fair, the beverages were served within no time. However, the pizza took a solid 45 minutes. I mean, I wonder what takes so long to create a pizza, or if it was just forgotten. In any case, if you are looking for a swift lunch, then this place is not necessarily the optimal one.
