Perfect to rest after a round of golf: Restaurante Hoyo 19 @ La Sella Golf (16. September 2022)
After a round of golf, it feels just perfect to sit down and eat something a bit heavier than usually. I went for the “Mediterranean chickpea hummus with falafel, Lebanese bread, and crudités” (EUR 9.00) and the “crispy chicken goujons with fried potato wedges and served with a salad garnish” (EUR 9.50). Both was good. I liked the falafel with the hummus as they weren’t all too dry which is the case all too often, however, the hummus could have been served with a tiny bit more olive oil.
The crispy chicken sticks were quite crispy indeed, and, with the served sauce, very enjoyable. However, what could have improved the whole experience definitely a bit was if the chicken wasn’t as dry as it was. The fries were quite okay as well. So, all in all, nothing to necessarily come back to food-wise (golf course wise, yes!), but the perfect pit-stop for food after a round of golf – the only thing is, you have to be patient as the service isn’t really that quick.
