A close to perfect breakfast experience in an old environment: Restaurant Al Bustan @ Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers (10. October 2022)

As disappointing as the Italian place in the Sheraton was, as much I liked the breakfast buffet at the Al Bustan. If you get the “Arabic Breakfast” (135.00 SAR) you are free to roam the entirety of the buffet, and dig in to whatever there is ranging from salmon, halloumi to …

… a few cheeses …

… typical Indian dishes …

… a large buffet of greens, hummus, and the like …

… more typical Indian dishes …

… juices …

… and a luscious bread and pastry selection. I love that they had halloumi and good hummus for breakfast. Really all I need when I’m in the region.

The place is simple, it’s a Sheraton, like so many older typical Sheratons, nothing where you want to spend hours, however, the breakfast selection is on point. Absolutely delicious, and absolutely perfect to get the day started!
