A delicious meat experience to be repeated soon: Restaurant Marble (15. October 2022)

| November 25, 2022 | 0 Comments

Frankly, I hadn’t expected too much when it came to the Marble as the place doesn’t really look that appealing from the outside – neither from the inside. However, it actually turned out that the dishes here are quite good (although not on the cheap side). I went for the “Rocca Salad” (35.00 SAR) as a starter, which was surprisingly fresh and tasty with the raspberries in it.

Then, since the main course was obviously meat, and there weren’t too many sides, I went for the “French Fries” (29.00 SAR) with “Marble Sauce” (6.00 SAR) and “Herbs Sauce (6.00 SAR)” and I must say that the fries were nicely crispy and overall super enjoyable. On top of that, the sauces are super tasty. So, really surprisingly good fries.

Since I had not expected to return in two days again, I decided to give two main courses a try, and went for the “brisket (250gr smoked brisket in off-set smoker with samer wood for 10 hours, served with lime and salt flakes)” (80.00 SAR) which was absolutely tender and just super delicious. The fact that there was barely any fat, but the meat was still incredibly delicious, definitely surprised me.

The “ribs (one full bone of smoked ribs for 8 hours in an off-set smoker with samer wood)” (119.00 SAR) were even more tender. The meat would basically just fall apart when you touched it with your fork. And it was super aromatic. There was definitely a bit more fat involved, but it was still relatively lean – so, all in all, quite a delicious feast.

As I initially said, the place is nothing special, however, the fact that you get to watch the guys prepare the food right in front of you is always a good sign.

To sum it up, what you experience at the Restaurant Marble in terms of food experience is definitely a pleasant one. They serve great meat, the staff is friendly, the prices are not cheap but still fair, and everything is rather swift. Since the place was both times relatively crammed, I would highly recommend you to book in advance.
