Still a delicious place for meat with outstanding burgers: Restaurant Marble (17. October 2022)

Sometimes you end up two times in the same place in a matter of days, so it was time to visit the Marble again. And to start, the “rocca salad” (35.00 SAR) did the trick, again.

Secondly, a portion of “French fries” (29.00 SAR) was also added, and it makes a lot of sense, since there are only two starters and they are actually quite tasty.

Then it was time to go for a selection of different meats, starting with the “ribs (one full bone of smoked ribs for 8 hours in an off-set smoker with samer wood)” (119.00 SAR) which were as tender as two days ago.

What kind of blew my mind was the “Marble Burger (180gr of goodness blend in a brioche bun, caramelized onion, cheese, and marble sauce with caramelized and seared edges)” (64.00 SAR) since it was actually incredibly delicious. I mean, the burger was truly exquisite. Perfect in terms of meat, cooked to perfection, great bun, tasty insides – just how you want a burger to taste.

The “Filet Mignon (our 200gr flame grilled tenderloin of Angus topped with au vin rouge sauce, truffle oil infused asparagus, potato skin crisps and home-made garlic purée)” (289.00 SAR) was quite exquisite too. The meat was tender and smooth, but was lacking a bit in side dishes.

To be honest, I didn’t end up trying the desserts since I didn’t really feel like sweets, plus I’m not too big a fan of desserts anyway. But, apparently, they were quite delicious.

All in all, the Marble remains a great place for meat – however, they are lacking an offering of side dishes (e.g., some salads or vegetables) as this would really up the experience. Make sure to book in advance, as the place is absolutely crowded in the evening.
