A little hidden Burlesque bar with exquisite drinks: Melt Bar (21. October 2022)

| December 7, 2022 | 0 Comments

Melt is a Burlesque bar and one of a kind. If you go in before 7pm, you get in for free. Else, there is an entrance fee, and there is almost a sure need to have a reservation. Luckily, we arrived 2 minutes before 7, so we still got in for free. The Melt is based on three floors, of which the floor at the bottom and the top (the entrance level floor) has its own bar. To start, I went for the “Diabla Roja (2009) (jalapeño infused tequila, lemon, lime, honey, angustura)” (169.00 SEK) which was definitely a very interesting drink since you could really feel the spice.

Secondly, I went for the “Aviation (1916) (Aviation Gin, Violette, Marachinos, Lemon)” (169.00 SEK) which was light and enjoyable – but not mind-blowing.

A bit different, but also not too bad was the “Naked & Famous (2011) (Mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse, Aperol, Lime)” (179.00 SEK).

Besides the very good drinks, there is another highlight worth looking at …

… the stage on the ground floor …

… where live acts are performed twice an hour.

You also get to have a look from the middle floor onto the ground floor.

Or you sit downstairs at the bar and enjoy the show right in front of you.

So, frankly, the Melt Bar is definitely a bar worth visiting when you’re in Stockholm. Lovely in terms of interior, nice and friendly, also ‘bumpy’ staff, good drinks, and a lot of entertainment. To sum it up – when you’re in Stockholm and fancy a drink, you should definitely pay the Melt Bar a visit.
