Great for a quick and delicious lunch break: Restaurant Dochilak Opéra (23. November 2022)

I was looking for a simple and swift place for lunch, and the Dochilak Opéra is exactly that – a simple and nice place which offers good food. I went for the “dak gangent (fried chickens with caramelized sauce)” (EUR 8.00) to start, which was good but simple. The chicken wings were nice and tasty. The soup was warm, but didn’t taste like too much.

The “beef bibimbap (a mixture of rice, various vegetables, egg and your choice of main ingredient, served in a hot stone bowl)” (EUR 14.50) on the other hand is a nice portion of tasty food for lunch. There is really everything you need. What’s missing, from my perspective, is a bit of the spicy part, but other than that, this was great for lunch.

The place is a mixture between a take-away and a restaurant, but – although it’s generally inviting – it’s not the place you want to spend hours at while eating. In any case, the overall performance of the place is good – fair food for fair prices in a fair atmosphere.
