13. June 2011: Gelateria Amorino
I was truyl amazed to see that my favourite Milan gelateria was also to be found in Berlin – but also a bit reluctant to go because I was by no means sure that the icecream would be as good as I was used to it while living in Milan – but hell, it was! Gelateria Amorino – no matter where on the world you go – if it is there, it is an absolute must to go and have ice cream there!
The selection is great as always and the ice cream just tastes incredibly fresh and great – plus what is pretty unusual for Germany (at least in my perception) is that you pay for the size of the cup and not for the number of bowls you’re having. A middle-sized cup costs EUR 3.00 – and I had three different flavours and definitely enough icecream.
Personally, I can recommend the “yoghurt” and the “kiwi” – honestly, I do not remember the third flavour but I guess it was just not as great as the other two!
The atmopshere in the Gelateria Amorino in Berlin is great. The design is pretty similar to the one in Milan and it is just nice. So if the weather is not that great outside, the Gelateria Amorino Berlin is really inviting to just sit down there and have the ice cream there! Worth it!
