Perfectly focused on a swift lunch experience, but not that swift after all: Restaurant Nooba Europaallee (16. January 2023)
I’ve been to a Nooba years ago, so I didn’t quite know what to expect. The first step, and the most important one – book in advance. The Nooba Europaallee is completely booked out and if you don’t have a booking you will almost not stand a chance to get a table. Once you’re seated, everything takes a while. Which isn’t astounding, since the place isn’t small, it’s quite packed, and there aren’t too many waiters attending the guests.
Once you’re finally able to place your order, things start moving … slowly! I went for the “spicy duck noodle soup (hot and sour soup with pink roasted duck breast, Konjak noodles, broccoli, carrots, radish, spring onions, celery, soybean sprouts, Thai basil)” (EUR 25.90), which was quite delicious. Personally, the ‘veggie to noodles’ ratio was a bit off (i.e., there weren’t enough noodles), but other than that, definitely enjoyable.
All in all, the Nooba Europaallee is a great place for a good and decently priced lunch. However, make sure you book in advance and you bring a bit of patience.
