A nice place for a good night shisha: Upyard Rooftop Lounge @ Courtyard by Marriott Al Barsha, Dubai (2. February 2023)
Whenever I’m in Dubai, it seems almost like a given that I end up at some Marriott property. Not even intentionally, but it keeps happening. The Upyard Rooftop Lounge offers nice shisha in a relatively decent setting. I went for the “double apple shisha” (75.00 AED), which was good, but far from the best I’ve had.
The place is generally speaking quite okay – it is not like it’s the most atmospheric place ever, but it is definitely a nice place, which is enjoyable. The waitress was super friendly, attentive, and swift. The shisha was served after only a few minutes, which is something you do not experience too often. Hence, all in all, the Upyard Rooftop Lounge is quite a nice place to enjoy a shisha at night.
