A truly local neighbourhood restaurant: Restaurant Falken Wiedikon (8. February 2023)

| April 28, 2023 | 0 Comments

When a misunderstanding leads to a smaller portion than expected. Originally, I wanted to get a soup as a starter, but the waiter somehow forgot about it, so suddenly, we had the main course on the table! And quite quickly so! Well, it is what it is, and I enjoyed the “pork cordon bleu staffed with ham and cheese” (CHF 35.00) and polenta on the side. The polenta was good, and better than very often when it’s too dry.

The place is nice since it’s traditional and in its own way quite appealing. The staff is friendly, attentive, and swift, making sure you get your drinks and food in no time. All in all, I still like the Falken Wiedikon, but I do admit that it is my favourite place during Metzgete in November!
