A quiet spot during the carnival period: Das weisse Schaf (18. February 2023)
When you’re going to Lucerne during carnival, it is not easy to find a place, which is kind of peaceful and quiet. Das weisse Schaf (the white sheep) is exactly that though – peaceful and quiet. To start with, I went for the “Mexicana (Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Cointreau orange liquor, mango purée, orange juice, lime juice, agave, chilli salt border)” (CHF 16.00), which was nice and spicy.
The “Fellia’s Smile (Ketel One Citrus Vodka, passion liquor, strawberry purée, lime juice, sugar syrup, ginger beer)” (CHF 16.00) was refreshing, floral, and enjoyable.
The “Gin Gin Mule (Tanqueray Gin, lime juice, sugar syrup, ginger, mint, ginger beer)” (CHF 16.00) was another decent drink.
And last but not least, the “Schaf Collins (Ketel One Citrus Vodka, lime juice, raspberry vanilla purée, ginger beer)” (CHF 15.00) was a nice fruity ending to the evening.
The place isn’t huge, but it’s fine in terms of interior design and the staff is friendly and super attentive. So, all in all, if you’re trying to escape carnival, then Das weisse Schaf is a good place to do so.
