Great drinks in a superb atmosphere: Dali’s Bar (11. March 2023)
Somehow, I have never heard of the Dali’s Bar, which is quite surprising, since the bar is actually quite exquisite. The place is simple yet atmospheric, hence, absolutely worth visiting. That being said, it’s key to book your table in advance, as there are not too many tables.
At first, the service was swift, but that was in the beginning when there weren’t too many customers and my “Lavender Mule (secret recipe based on gin and lavender)” (CHF 16.00) ended up being served quite quickly. And I must say, it was a nice mule – not necessarily the most exciting ever, but a good one. And the lavender taste wasn’t too intense, luckily.
Ordering the “Frozato (rosé, lime, vodka, sugar syrup, strawberries, raspberry jam)” (CHF 18.00) was a bit of an exercise since the place was crammed at this point in time, hence, it took them a while. However, once it was served, it turned out to be actually quite tasty, although not necessarily outstanding.
Last but not least, I went for the “Juicy Lucy (secret recipe based on vermouth and lemon, with egg white)” (CHF 16.00), which was nice, but given there was a lot of ice in the glass, it felt like it was empty within no time. But it was still enjoyable.
The place is truly nice, and when it’s not too crowded, the staff is super friendly and attentive. I mean, they are also super friendly, once the place gets busy. However, the attention definitely goes down, which is somewhat understandable, but still a bit unsatisfactory.
All in all, Dali’s Bar is definitely worth a visit! Just make sure to book in advance!f
