Much better food than you would expect there: Beach @ Le Royal Méridien (18. March 2023)
Despite the fact that the Grosvenor House itself doesn’t have a beach, you have the possibility to get beach access via the Le Royal Méridien, and it’s an option you should definitely take advantage of. The place is quite nice and perfect, to chill, to eat, to drink. The only downside is that there is no shisha at the beach.
I went for the “Caesar salad” (95.00 AED) with additional “avocado slices” (35.00 AED) and I must say that I was very positively surprised by both. The quality of both dishes (I mean, to be fair, you cannot really call the avocado slices a dish) was actually quite good.
As mentioned, it’s quite lovely to just chill by the beach and worth spending a bit of time here.
The staff is friendly and, given the fact that they have to take care of hundreds of people, quite quick as well. So, all in all, staying here at the beach is a positive experience I would absolutely recommend you.
