A very traditional bar experience with great drinks: Bristol Bar @ Hotel Bristol Vienna, A Luxury Collection Hotel (9. April 2023)
What I love about the Bristol, and it will be definitely the hotel I’ll be staying at again when in Vienna the next time, is its bar. The Bristol Bar looks exactly the same as it looked 12 years ago when I was in Vienna the first time. And the bar chef is still the same guy too! That is something, which is truly exceptional, about the Bristol. I went for the “Porn Star Martini (Absolut Wodka, fresh lime juice, vanilla syrup, fresh passion fruit, Laurent Perrier)” (EUR 20.00), which did not only look very pretty, but was also delicious.
Why you need the Laurent Perrier on the side, I’m not quite sure. I guess, you can just pour it into the drink once you’ve had a sip of the rest, but it’s truly far from outstanding if you mix the two. I absolutely enjoyed the core drink by itself though! Since the bar isn’t large and there are usually quite a few hotel guests, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance.
