The perfect place for some afternoon pool chilling: Dip Pool Bar @ The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm (5. May 2023)
What I truly like about the pool bars in Dubai is that they serve shisha at the pool, so, it was time for me to take my “double apple shisha” (110.00 AED) by the pool and enjoy the day. The preparation time of the shisha is, especially when you order at 1pm, when they are supposed to serve shisha, way too long with more than 40 minutes. Other than that, the shisha is decent, but the shisha guy doesn’t come to change coals too often, unfortunately.
Other than that, the Dip Pool Bar in The St. Regis, The Palm is definitely a place I can see myself hanging out. I went for “The Glitzy Mary (vodka, mezcal, Bezaar spice, saffron, loomi lime, date syrup, tomato juice, celery salt)” (45.00 AED), which is – unfortunately – served in some kind of plastic cup while you’re at the pool, but I must say it was absolutely good and enjoyable. Not the same as if you would drink it from a glass, but enjoyable.
All in all, you don’t come to the pool for food, but to relax, enjoy your time, have a shisha and some drinks. And that is exactly what you can do right here and there. So, if you want to enjoy your time, then I would highly recommend you to stay at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm.
