A traditional Emirati breakfast experience – or something like that: Platinum Heritage Desert Camp (5. May 2023)
I decided to do one of these desert safari things, which included breakfast. Hence, you end up in the “Platinum Heritage Desert Camp” in the middle of nowhere, where you get your breakfast in a very traditional setting. And the breakfast starts with a “pot of foul beans”, which you can then enrich with coriander, onions, and tomatoes.
Once you have everything you want, i.e., your full breakfast, you can pick your place to seat, and it’s really just a little area with a few chairs, where you can take in your breakfast. It’s important to do so early, since it becomes quite hot, quite early.
All in all, the Platinum Heritage Desert Camp breakfast is decent, but far from special. I suppose it’s quite traditional, hence, interesting in terms of experience.
