Not easy to find a nice place to enjoy a glass of champagne: Restaurant Le Continental (18. May 2023)
It is not really that easy finding a nice place for an apéro in Reims. So, finding something, which worked, took a while. We also went for a platter of “fromage à tout heure” (EUR 18.00), which was okay and better than expected. The place is okay, but not overly appealing.
What was truly confusing was the service. There were about four to five waiters and none of them was paying any attention whatsoever. I mean, if you have to wave with both your arms up to get some reaction, something is definitely going wrong. So, yeah, they serve champagne and drinks and all, but it’s not really a place worth visiting.
