It is quite an experience but not necessarily the one you would hope for: Restaurant L’Experience (18. May 2023)
Sometimes there are moments, which surprise you quite a bit, like the fact that you won’t find a table for two but one for five. Two people were coming in right before our group, and they were like “nah, no space for the next 30′”, and when we asked for five, they were like, yeah, sure. I suppose, this makes a lot of sense in terms of ‘sales optimisation’, I was still surprised.
As a starter, some “chorizo cream” was served, which was nice, but too dense for my personal gusto.
I went for the “chuck flap (300gr) with Sauce Béarnaise and French Fries” (EUR 32.90) and ordered “ratatouille maison” (EUR 3.00) as a side. The meat was okay, but definitely a bit fattier than for example a flank steak. The French fries weren’t all too great. And the ratatouille maison was overall okay.
All in all, the L’Experience is an experience, not a massive one and not a persuading one, but it’s an experience. To be fair, the waiter was super friendly and attentive throughout the evening, so kudos to him.
