Excellent service and good dishes for dinner: Restaurant moriki @ Roomers Hotel Baden-Baden (29. May 2023)
While the moriki is the breakfast restaurant in the morning, it turns into a ‘regular Asian restaurant’ for lunch and dinner. And since the day was quite exhausting, I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, the moriki. I went for the “fried mandu (8 pieces deep-fried vegetable dumplings, chilli sauce)” (EUR 8.00), which were quite nice. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely good and enjoyable.
The “Tori Gyoza (5 pieces chicken vegetable dumplings, ponzu)” (EUR 10.00) were even better, so I felt like this was going somewhere. And it was.
The “lost monk (stir-fried beef, pork, chicken, prawns, vegetables, chilli, lemongrass, rice)” (EUR 23.00) was a nice combination of different meats and seafood. Frankly, a bit of a weird mixture when you read through it on the menu, but it turned out to be quite delicious – but a rather large portion!
The place is quite nice and atmospheric, so it’s fine to sit inside and enjoy dinner here.
That evening, the waiter, who was taking care of me, was super swift, super attentive, and super friendly. Frankly, very close to perfect service – just how it should be! So, after that experience, I would absolutely recommend the moriki for dinner.
