Lovely lunch location in a quiet patio in the city centre: Café Milchbar – das Gaumenfreudenhaus (31. May 2023)
On a summer day, the Café Milchbar is kind of a perfect location for lunch since you get to sit outside in the patio and enjoy a good tasty dish right then and there. I went for the “Milchbar Poke Bowl (sushi rice, mango, edamame, avocado, radish, pomegranate) (CHF 24.50) with “fish crisps” (CHF 11.00) and it was not only served quite swiftly, it was also enjoyable. Good quality and definitely enough food (countering my first intuition in terms of size).
The place is a bit crammed, since the tables are rather close to each other, so your ‘privacy’ is a bit limited, but the place is nice, and the staff is friendly and swift. So, the Café Milchbar is a great restaurant for a swift and tasty lunch. Booking in advance is highly recommended as this place is usually booked out quite swiftly.
