Quick, tasty, friendly, and relaxed lunch experience in central Zurich: Restaurant 33 (12. June 2023)
I keep returning to the Restaurant 33 because they offer a swift, friendly, and price-wise fair lunch service. I went for the “mixed salad” as a starter (as part of the menu) and I like that you actually get a few different ingredients and not just salad leaves (as happens way too often).
As a main, I went for the “Pizza Parma (tomatoes, mozzarella, Parma ham, rocket salad, mozzarella di bufala)” (CHF 31.50), which I ordered with additional anchovies. While the kitchen forgot to put the anchovies, the waiter realised and wanted to correct it, but I told him that it was okay, so, I ended up enjoying the pizza without anchovies. And to be honest, it was just fine like that. With a bit of the chilli on top, it was a good lunch.
The place is simple and so is the food – simple, but good. That’s the key here. All in all, I quite liked and enjoyed, again, the lunch experience at Restaurant 33. Since the place is relatively central, it’s an absolute necessity to book in advance, especially if you want to sit outside.
