Lovely atmosphere, good drinks, slow service: Mondi Bar @ The College Hotel, Autograph Collection (18. June 2023)
I wanted to have a quick drink before dinner, so, I figured the hotel bar would probably be the best choice – and while it is kind of lovely to sit outside in the patio, it was also a bit annoying since there is not really any waiter taking care of you. There was one guy walking along taking care of something else, and I had to wave at him, to make sure we would actually be attended.
I went for the “Pornstar Martini” (EUR 15.00), which was super nice and enjoyable – and was served sufficiently swiftly for it to be nice.
All in all, the Mondi Bar is a nice place to sit down and have a drink – from an atmosphere perspective as well as from a ‘good drinks’ perspective. However, from a service perspective, I’m not so sure.
