Relatively disappointing overall, but interesting ice cream flavours: Duo @ Italian Street Food Festival Berlin (24. June 2023)

Given the Italian Street Food Festival happened in Berlin when I was there, I figured it’s worth giving it a try. In all honesty, though, I was missing a bit of the ‘special’, i.e., you would get what you expect, which is Italian food in one or the other way. Personally, though, the place felt super crammed and for the fact that you pay EUR 4.00 for entry without getting anything, it just felt a bit off.

The place I finally found to potentially enjoy something was “Duo”, which seemed to be a Gelateria located somewhere in Berlin and I went for the flavour combination of “brontesino (mascarpone, pistacchio, brioche)” (EUR 2.50), “lime” (EUR 2.50), and “mango” (EUR 2.50). I enjoyed the brontesino as it was something I have never tried before. The other two were quite okay, but far from exciting.

All in all, the Italian Street Food Festival was a bit of a disappointment and is probably something I wouldn’t visit again.
