A lovely place to enjoy a shisha, although being a bit pushy on ‘duration of stay’: Marooush (24. June 2023)
After such a heavy meal, you need a way to calm down your stomach and to make it relax a bit – and, in my opinion, there is nothing better than a “double apple shisha” (EUR 15.00). I was checking for shisha places and found the Marooush, which seemed sufficiently Middle Eastern to know how to prepare their shishas, and they do.
It is a bit crowded, and it is a bit hectic, and they are trying to be super busy (to be fair, they were quite busy) by announcing that, without a reservation, you would only be able to stay for about 1 hour – which turned out to not be true in the end anyway. So, if you’re looking for a decent shisha in a decent atmosphere, then the Marooush is a good place in Berlin.
