Good burgers, but not the swiftest of service: Restaurant Korner (6. September 2023)
Funny enough, I always somehow end up having the exact same dish when coming here. I went for the “Mr Scoville Burger (handmade highland beef burger, very hot chilli sauce, roasted onions, biosphere Swiss mountain cheese and salad leaf) with Fries” (CHF 31.50), “garlic mayo” (CHF 2.50) plus and “coleslaw” (CHF 7.50). What I like about the burger is that the buns aren’t “higher”, but wider, which makes the eating process much more enjoyable. The fries are actually quite decent too.
What I didn’t appreciate too much was the attentiveness (or rather, lack thereof) of the service. I mean, if you are getting your coleslaw (which isn’t too hard to produce) about 5 minutes after the rest of the dishes had been served, then something is off. In any case, the burgers are decent, fair from a price perspective, and relatively swift for a lunch offering.
