Decent rooftop restaurant experience: Restaurant Goja Rooftop @ Renaissance Barcelona Hotel (12. October 2023)
While not everything went smoothly when I stayed at the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel, I must say the Goja Rooftop is a nice place to visit. During our working sessions, we had our lunch break on the rooftop and the food selection was actually quite nice. It was a set menu, which started with “seafood paella”, which was super enjoyable.
Secondly, a modern version of a “Chicken Tikka Massala” was served. It didn’t taste or feel like a Chicken Tikka Massala, but it was definitely tasty. And, surprisingly, I even found the vegetables they served with the dish absolutely delicious.
Last but not least, I even tried the “Cheese cake with red berries” and due to the fact that there was some dulce de leche on top and that the cheesecake was quite light, I enjoyed it.
In terms of atmosphere, it’s nice to sit there and enjoy the last sun rays of autumn. However, when it comes to rooftop bars, then there are definitely better options as you don’t really have much of a view (with the exceptions of from very few places). So, if you stay here, worth going. If you don’t, I wouldn’t bother.
