Still a decent cocktail bar, but not as mind blowing as with the last visit: No. 27 Bar & Lounge @ The Shelbourne (20. October 2023)
When I was here the last time, I really enjoyed the place. Somehow, it felt a bit different this time. I’m not sure if that was due to the time (as we had arrived shortly after midnight and before the last round) or due to something else. I went for the “dreamcatcher (green spot, Bacardi 8yr, ardbeg, all spice syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, grenadine)” (EUR 17.00), which was nice, but definitely on the sweeter side of things.
In any case, the place was still nice and they serve decent drinks.
All in all, the experience at the No. 27 Bar & Lounge was nice. As they aggressively switched on the light to get people out, I kind of wasn’t too happy about that part of the experience, so it was definitely not as good as last time, but still quite decent.
