Not bad, but definitely overrated steakhouse: Restaurant Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill (21. October 2023)
Given we had visited the Jameson distillery, which is absolutely worth visiting, we ended up being a bit late for lunch and had to look for something, which was open and had space, so we walked into the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill, and were lucky enough to still find a table. I went for the “Steak Frites with Sauce Béarnaise”, which were labelled to cost EUR 29.95 on the menu, but it turned out they actually charged us EUR 30.95 for that. Frankly, both is okay in terms of price, however, I do not appreciate when things are announced cheaper to then be overcharged. The meat was fine, the fries were okay, so, all in all, the food was decent.
What I did enjoy quite a bit was the “creamed spinach with horseradish” (EUR 6.95) although, personally, I wouldn’t have mind if it was a bit creamier.
The place is okay in terms of interior design, but not necessarily mind-blowing. It’s rather touristic from a design perspective. So, all in all, the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill was okay for me – but nothing more than that.
