Exquisitely outstanding seafood experience a bit remote from Dublin: Restaurant King Sitric Seafood Bar (22. October 2023)
One of the restaurants I definitely remember from my last visit is the King Sitric, which was great when it comes to seafood. I remember back then that it was hard to get a reservation, so I was rather surprised that we were able to score a table for four for lunch. But I was not only surprised, I was also super happy about it as the food is really exquisite. I went for the “seafood chowder (smoked fish, salmon & mixed vegetable cream soup, served with brown bread)” (EUR 9.50) as a starter, which was delicious. The chowder was thick, rich, and aromatic.
As a main, I went for the “crab claws in garlic butter (250gr) served with brown bread” (EUR 36.00), which were exquisite. The meat was more delicious than the same the night before. The garlic butter in which they were served mixed well with the meat, and was perfectly soaked up by the bread, which is absolutely delicious too.
So, when you are coming to Howth, you should absolutely try the King Sitric. Amazing seafood for very reasonable prices. On top of that, the place is nice when you look at it from the outside, but it’s even nicer when you are inside – really comfortable and appealing. On top of all of that, the waiters were super friendly and swift, really making it an exquisite experience. Worth the travel!
