The second time is the charm: Restaurant Le Lyrique (26. October 2023)

| December 19, 2023 | 0 Comments

Last time I was at Le Lyrique, it was raining cats and dogs, and I was soaking wet. This time, luckily, it only rained a little, which made the whole experience much more pleasant. As a starter, I went for the “pumpkin carpaccio with curry and ginger with flute Gruyère cheese” (CHF 18.00), and while I liked the soup, and it was perfectly warming one’s body, it was also a bit too expensive for a small cup of soup.

The “Risotto (with Gorgonzola cheese and pears, Piedmont hazelnut crumble and smoked bacon)” (CHF 31.00) was not only exquisite, but it was also okay in terms of pricing. In the end, though, personally, it was a bit too much food.

All in all, the Le Lyrique is a place I can recommend in terms of food quality, speed and friendliness of service, but it isn’t entirely on the cheap side of things for business lunches.
