A decent place for a quick business lunch: Restaurant Kaufleuten (1. November 2023)

| December 29, 2023 | 0 Comments

The Kaufleuten remains a good place for a quick business lunch as it offers a good menu for a fair price, which is served rather swiftly. The “salad with home-made dressing” (CHF 12.50) is good and refreshing, however, it is a bit expensive for what you get.

The “char with capers and lime filets, broccoli, and potatoes” (CHF 36.50) as the menu of the day was decent. The portion was a bit too small for my personal gusto, but it was still, overall, enjoyable. Personally, I am of the opinion that you could have added a few more potatoes and vegetables, but other than that, from a flavour perspective, it was tasty.

The place is buzzing over lunch, so it’s key that you actually book your table in advance, as the chances for a short notice table are rather small.
