Lovely rooftop, but much better to visit in summer: Javá Rooftop (4. November 2023)
The Javá Rooftop is a nice place I can definitely recommend you to visit. However, you have to make sure that you go there when it’s warm as you mainly get to sit outside in the afternoon and in the beginning of November, the weather is already rather cold. On top of that, make sure you reserve your table once you’re there because you have to queue for your drink, and it might well be that by the time you have your drink, all the tables are taken.
I went for the “Frida Fashion (Mezcal Union, Bulleit Bourbon, Agave Syrup & Orange Bitter)” (EUR 12.00), which was – honestly – not really my type of drink. Given they didn’t have the drink I had originally wanted I was taking a quick decision, and it turned out to be not my type of alcohol as I’m not really a fan of bourbon.
In any case, the Javá Rooftop is a lovely place, which offers a lovely view over the city of Lisbon and onto the sea – so, if you are in the vicinity here (like at the Time Out Market), then I can definitely recommend you to try this place, enjoy the view, and get a good drink.
