When the crew celebrates themselves too much and ignores the customer: Gin Lovers Bar (4. November 2023)

| January 4, 2024 | 0 Comments

The Gin Lovers Bar is an experience of its own. The place is super stylish and appealing, which is aided by the fact that they have three or four different rooms and each is a bit different in terms of interior design. However, the music in the place is unbearably loud, which makes a conversation basically impossible. And on top of that, the crew likes the music a bit too much and keeps dancing to it – which is absolutely fine. If you start ignoring your customers, though, then I find this problematic.

Eventually, there was success in placing the order and I got the “Inseparable (Schweppes lime, dehydrated pineapple, vanilla)” (EUR 13.00), which was actually very good – simple, but very good.

The “Kaikyo (Schweppes Pink Pepper, dehydrated peach, bitter pepper)” (EUR 14.00) was nice too, but did not reach the level of the Inseparable.

In any case, the place is stylish and there is even a small balcony for smokers (which I imagine being quite nice if you’re here in summer (and you smoke)).

All in all, the Gin Lovers Bar is a nice place when it comes to atmosphere and interior design, and the same actually holds true for their gins. What I didn’t like – despite the fact that they were super friendly – was the non-attention to your guests, plus the way too loud background music, which makes you basically yell at each other if you want to hold a conversation.
