The perfect place for a swift, but tasty business lunch experience: Restaurant 33 (23. November 2023)
The Restaurant 33 is and remains a safe bet for a quick and tasty lunch. Even if you might have to wait a tiny bit in the beginning until the menu is served, once it’s served, things really only take very little time. We placed the order and within a few seconds, the “zucchetti cream soup” was served. Sure, nothing overly fancy, but definitely good and great to get started.
As a main, I went for the “gnocchi della casa (3 different potato gnocchi (mushrooms, rocket salad, cheese) with cherry tomatoes, Parmesan shaves, butter, all served on a bed of rocket salad)” (CHF 29.50). I absolutely loved the gnocchi, although they were much more heavy than I had expected. The stuffing was rather intense, and the flavour profile of the different gnocchi was great. But you were definitely more than full once you’ve had a few bites.
The place is relatively crowded in winter since all the tables, which are usually outside, seem to be inside. Hence, it feels like they are trying to cram everyone inside. Other than the ‘lack of space’, the restaurant is really just perfect, as they are friendly, attentive, and make sure that you have everything you need and want within a few minutes.
