Lovely drinks, friendly service, and nice setting: OUIBAR + KTCHN @ Radisson RED (1. December 2023)

| January 19, 2024 | 0 Comments

If you want to take a quick break before or after visiting the museum of African arts, then the OUIBAR + KTCHN at the Radisson RED (yes, red, not blu), is definitely a good place to do so. They offer decent drinks like the “Local is Lekker (the skinny-dipper with all the curves)” (180 ZAR), which is hard to drink, since the glass is topped up perfect, so it will spill over easily and quickly.

The “Mali (a taste of the island life)” (140 ZAR) was equally enjoyable, and not topped up the same level, so you would be able to enjoy it a bit calmer.

The place is quite nice, and the waitress was super friendly, so you feel welcome immediately. The only thing I did not appreciate about the place was the behaviour of the bouncer lady, which refused admission to the rooftop, because it was booked out, while actually you could see from the museum’s floors, that there was no one!
