Slow service for lunch, but still an amazing view: Restaurant @ Clouds Estate (7. December 2023)

| February 7, 2024 | 0 Comments

Given, I felt like a lazy day spent by the pool, I decided to also have lunch at the Clouds Estate restaurant, and that was okay – despite the relatively slow service. I had gone for the “house salad (peppers, cucumbers, baby tomatoes, red onion, salad, pickled carrots, honey mustard dressing, toasted seeds)” (100 ZAR) and added the “harissa grilled chicken, bacon” (70 ZAR). The salad was to my liking, but somehow not really what one would call a salad in the end as there was a lot of sauce, flavour, seasoning.

In any case, the food wasn’t bad, but it took too long to be served. The “Clouds Estate Wine Tasting” (150 ZAR) was okay, but frankly, none of the wines really made me happy.
