One of the better club lounges I have experienced: Club Lounge @ THE PLAZA Seoul, Autograph Collection (15. December 2023)
The Club Lounge in The Plaza Seoul is definitely worth visiting. If you have a status within Marriott, which allows you to visit the lounge, you should take advantage of this. The selection of dishes is quite good and definitely better than in any average lounge, ranging from soup to naan bread …
… to pork belly (!!!) …
… to dumplings and glazed pork loin …
… mussels and duck breast …
… tartare sauce with fish and chips (yeah, this had run out when I took the picture) …
… and a generous selection of different salad components …
… as well as your fruit and sweets. So, you really get everything you need and want, which is lovely, since it is not really a common thing in hotel lounges.
On top of that, the service is excellent – whenever you’re done with a plate or a glass, they will take it off, and it will disappear in the minute you’re restocking. The lounge itself, in terms of interior design, isn’t anything special, but it’s clean and functional, so it more than serves its purpose.
