An absolutely authentic local Thai street food experience: Street Food Stall Guichaisapanhan (กุยช่ายสะพานหัน สาขาตลาดพลู) (18. December 2023)

| February 23, 2024 | 0 Comments

For more than 8 years I order my shirts and suits from the same Thai tailor, Prince (you can find his produce under http://www.royalasiaboutique.com and he travels to Europe several times a year to take measures and do fittings). And he was so kind to take us out on a day in Bangkok – and it was a blast. I mean, we really got to experience Bangkok through the eyes of a local! An amazing experience.

We stopped at some food stall called Guichaisapanhan for a late breakfast (or rather, a second breakfast) and we got a few of their dishes. In all honesty, I have absolutely no clue what exactly we ate, but it was all superbly nice and tasty.

You pick the food from the counter, and then it’s fried in front of your eyes in a pan full of oil.

I have no clue how long that oil has been there, how fresh it is, but let me tell you, it’s worth trying, and it was tasty for sure! We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy that on the ride on the river with a boat and some local beers, so, lovely all over!

I am not sure if this is the absolute food stall you need to try, but it is for sure mega tasty, and it is for sure nice to try. Make sure that you check out the places where the locals queue, where the food looks good, and the place looks clean. If you are ending up in this neighbourhood of Bangkok, make sure to try the Street Food Stall Guichaisapanhan (กุยช่ายสะพานหัน สาขาตลาดพลู).
