An excellent breakfast buffet experience: Restaurant The Ping Cuisine & Bar @ Marriott Chiang Mai (20. December 2023)

| February 28, 2024 | 0 Comments

As non-eventful as the lobby bar of the hotel is, as great is the breakfast selection in The Ping Cuisine & Bar in the Marriott Chiang Mai – you can find really pretty much everything you need and want. You’re greeted warmly when entering and the waitress, who leads you to your table also takes up your order straight away, which makes the whole starting experience already much better. And then there is everything ranging from a few different sweet treats …

… to a variety of diary and Thai cakes …

… bread and croissants …

… jams and waffles …

… a roast and simple sandwiches …

… more traditional Western breakfast elements like hash browns or bacon …

… the mandatory cereal corner …

… freshly pressed fruit juices …

… even a salad corner …

… as well as freshly pre-cut fruit …

… bacon, crispy, and soft, …

… more bread …

… a ‘Lanna corner’ (Lanna is the word for the people from the Chiang Mai region (and a few adjacent regions)) …

… as well as more traditional Asian dishes …

… as well as more Chinese-inspired dishes …

… and the Noodle Soup Corner, which is one of my favourite things about breakfast in Asia.

What I really liked about The Ping Cuisine & Bar is the versatility of the selection – you get something from every corner of the world. And everything I had tried was actually tasty and enjoyable. So, if you stay at the Marriott Chiang Mai, then I can highly recommend you to try the breakfast here. And personally, even if you are not staying here, but you’re looking for a good breakfast option, I would say it’s worth visiting.
