A somewhat lucky find offering a truly local experience: Restaurant Mr. Kai (20. December 2023)

| February 29, 2024 | 0 Comments

Sometimes you’re unlucky and end up being lucky. I intended to go to a different place, but this place was overbooked, hence, it was time to find something quickly for lunch, since the walking tour started 60 minutes later. The Mr. Kai had a 4.6 on Google Maps, so, I decided to give it a try. The place is simple as hell, but they serve decent food for a fair price, hence, I went for the “fried rice with beef” (70 BHT), which was that. Fried rice with beef. And frankly, all in all, it was good. The beef was obviously not the absolutely best I have ever tried, but it was rather chewy. Still, the meal wasn’t bad.

So, if you’re looking to have lunch within like 30 minutes and get some bang for your buck, then the Mr. Kai is definitely a place I can recommend. If you are looking for something a bit more sophisticated, I would probably recommend you another place.
