Michelin-recommended restaurant for Phở: Restaurant Phở Lệ (31. December 2023)
During the city tour for Ho Chi Minh City, we had a lunch stop at what turned out to be a Michelin-recommended restaurant called Phở Lệ, so, naturally, the place specialises in Phở, and hence, that is what I went for. The “Brisket Phở” (90’000 VND) was served within minutes, doesn’t cost anything, and was actually very tasty.
Of course, I would add some lime and chili, to make it a bit spicier than the regular one, but once that was achieved, it was a delicious Phở.
So, if you don’t mind sitting on a simple chair at a simple table, and have your lunch within a few minutes (maybe 15-20 if you are spending a long time there), then the Phở Lệ is definitely a place to visit.
