Great food selection, but no space for the customers: Club Lounge @ Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection (1. January 2024)

| March 30, 2024 | 0 Comments

After a full day in the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta, it was time to have a quick bite and get some rest – and what better place than the Club Lounge at the Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection hotel? Well, at least that is what I thought. To be fair, though, the food options are quite nice for lounge food – you really get a small selection of a regular larger buffet, and all of that complementarily as a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador member.

Now, the part that isn’t so nice is the lack of space. I mean, I get it that this is not planned to serve hundreds of people like the breakfast place, but I find it a bit disturbing that even during peak hours, there is barely any space to sit down and enjoy your dishes.

Sure, you can wait for a while, but that has another side effect, which isn’t all too amazing – namely, you cannot get your drinks yourself, hence, you have to order them with a waiter or at the bar. Given the place is as busy as I just mentioned, it takes ages for them to bring the drinks, ultimately leading to the issue that you are having had your food, but you don’t have your drinks.

So, to sum it up, great location (located on the 71st floor), tasty dishes, but definitely not the speed of service you would expect from such a lounge – and the space is a real issue.
