Nice bar for a pre-dinner visit: Miss Wong Cocktail Bar (3. January 2024)
There are quite a few bars close to the river in Siem Reap, and the Miss Wong was recommended to us by the tour guide, hence, we gave it a try. The “Spiced Bloody Mary (Kampot green-peppercorn and chili infused Vodka, Tabasco, tomato juice, and fresh Oriental celery leaves)” (USD 7.00) definitely left a good impression as a starter. The Toca chips they served complementarily with it were quite nice as well!
The “Jen Queen’s Âng-Pau (Gin, mandarin orange marmalade, fresh mint and pinot noir)” (USD 7.00) was a bit less to my liking, but still enjoyable as a drink.
What I liked was also how friendly the staff was – they were there at all times, making sure that you have everything you need and want at all times.
All in all, the Miss Wong Cocktail Bar isn’t the prettiest in terms of interior decoration, but they have super friendly staff and offer tasty drinks, so, not a bad place for a pre-dinner visit.
