A place to see the sunset in Bangkok – and to have a look at the Eye of Sauron: Brewski Rooftop Bar @ Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok (5. January 2024)
Finding a place, which is kind of decent, in terms of atmosphere and view, plus offers good drinks, is actually not as easy and straightforward as you might think, so it took a while to find the Brewski Rooftop Bar on top of the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, but if you manage to find that spot before sunset, then you should really make sure to enjoy it to the fullest extent possible. The “Mezcal Paloma (Creyente Mezcal joven, bols triple sec, grapefruit juice, lime juice, soda water)” (425 THB) was actually surprisingly decent and was served relatively swiftly too.
The “Aroma (Bickens Dry Gin, Bols Elderflower, Orange Juice, Lime Juice, egg white)” (325 THB) was equally good, so, they do offer quite a few nice and tasty drinks, which are served super quickly. Hence, I can highly recommend to chill here a bit for drinks.
And if you manage to capture the sunset, then this place is actually exquisite.
You might even be lucky, and get a glimpse of the ‘eye of Sauron’ ;-)
In all seriousness, though, the place is lovely, the drinks are good, and the overall atmosphere is decent. The staff is friendly and relatively swift in what they offer.
