Decent and swift lunch option if you’re around here anyways: Restaurant Banana Leaf @ Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa (11. January 2024)

| April 24, 2024 | 0 Comments

I was looking for a simple and quick option for lunch to get back to the beach, and the Banana Leaf offered that. Given we were the only guests, the service was swift and attentive, making sure you would have what you wanted within no time. I went for the “crispy duck curry (duck drumstick, red curry, cherry tomato, pineapple, and lychee)” (390 THB) and I should have read better since I did not expect to get a whole duck leg instead of slices of duck. In any case, the curry was tasty, and the duck was good too, but it was just incredibly annoying to pull the duck apart and make it into what one defines as a curry dish.

All in all, if you need a quick lunch break, the Banana Leaf is a functional place to enjoy your lunch.
